Little did NBC NASCAR Reporter Kelli Stavast know that during her interview with Brandon Brown who had just won the Xfinity Nascar Race at the Talladega Superspeedway, she had just launched an instant political sensation. The fake news she told the audience was that the fans were cheering “Let’s go, Brandon!” and not shouting an anti-Biden chant.
LET'S GO BRANDON! was not actually what they were chanting. Not even close. The crowd was very clearly addressing President Biden, not Brandon. Only, with an f-bomb in front of his name instead of “Let’s go!”
